MRX Marine is a family-run company consisting of experienced fabricators and professional engineers. We have been the sole HydroHoist Boat Lift dealer for Western Canada since 2003, and have installed and serviced boat lifts for over 200 clients across the country.
We are committed to quality and provide installation and service to all makes and models of HydroHoist Boat Lifts; we can make custom modifications to fit your specific needs. Additionally, we can provide full waterfront development, including custom dock design and fabrication. |
MRX Marine will travel to any location in Canada to install your HydroHoist Boat Lift. If you have special conditions for your installation, we will help you choose the best lift for those conditions and make any modifications necessary. Examples of conditions include low tides, no water, no power, no dock, within rivers, lakes and saltwater remote locations.

Spencer studied Mechatronics Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University, completing his Bachelor of Applied Science in 2014. He founded SFU's first Formula SAE team, SF-1, and advocated for a student shop space to house fabrication equipment and allow for all engineering students to practice and apply the engineering theories they have studied in class.
In 2014, Spencer began working at Resonance Technology International in Coquitlam, BC, designing and managing the production of commercial pile driving and drilling equipment. After 3 years of employment and receiving his Professional Engineering designation, Spencer decided to focus his attention on his family's business, MRX Marine.
Spencer has his Advanced Open Water Diving Certification, and dives regularly for both business and pleasure. His passion for engineering flows into other aspects of his life as well, with home renovations and building and customizing cars being among his favourite hobbies.
Spencer's dog, Sitka, regularly joins Spencer on the job site.
